2nd half of the hunt is where the action is going to be.  When I had the tag last year the second week was big groups of elk with bulls around the perimeter coming and going.  First week was fun and I had encounters every day.  The two weeks after the season were absolutely nuts.

That's a damn nice bull 

Yeah he was pretty solid. Super wide too, unfortunately he kept sneaking into timber and I didn't get a lot of quality video of him straight on through the spotter.

A couple more on the hit list. The 1 bull should settle the question of are they eyeguards or brow tines..........He just grew both.
