The whole reason for it in the first place is because people wouldn’t stay the hell home. It’s 2 weeks.Hate to say it but that 2 weeks is getting extended no matter how well we all adhere to it. I am also a proponent of hit it hard and get it over with but I’d put a lot of money on this thing going a month or more

President Trump said he hopes we will be back to normal by Easter. That's April 12th. Just short of three weeks from now. I hope that happens.
Inslee specifically states people can recreate and specifically states 'walking' and "going for bike rides" correct?! What in the heck do you think places like the Centennial Trail, Sammamish River Trail and Burk Gilman Trail are going to look like the next 14 days??! Why keep those recreational options open but close access to launch areas where there would be arguably FAR fewer people and the people there would be much farther spaced out? That's my issue. I don't want to go walk or bike on a trail with potentially hundreds, if not thousands, of people whizzing by breathing heavily. It just doesn't make sense. I am in 'walking' distance of two lakes but once I get there the access is now closed, why? I would rather go to a lake with fewer people around and CATCH food vs. a grocery store full of people and buy food and run a massively higher risk of potentially catching C19! Makes zero frigging sense to me.Just be specific, be consistent, apply common sense, shut absolutely EVERYTHING down for two weeks and roll in the National Guard to help enforce it or what are we doing? Picking and choosing what recreational opportunities will be 'allowed' knowing full well biking, hiking and walking will congregate massive crowds is just pissing in the wind.
Did any of you guys watch the speech? Read the specifics? Last week, government kept warning to stay home. Social distance etc or they’d have to take more actions. Well, stupid people didn’t listen. 99 cars at trailheads. People out everywhere. So, since people couldn’t be grown, mature, responsible adults on their own, the govt snapped it’s finger and shut us down further. People losing jobs and major financial hits for tons of people. Stay the hell home. This isn’t about you. And to the guy who was complaining last night about why Franklin county was affected because they only had 2 cases, you now have 7. Hopefully you don’t have 15 tomorrow.

The whole reason for it in the first place is because people wouldn’t stay the hell home. It’s 2 weeks.I don't think that's really the issue. What is the intent of the ruling? I have to think it's to reduce interactions. Yet the state has picked and chosen for us which interactions will be deemed acceptable. Very little common sense is at work when you can still pack hundreds of people into a Costco (how many are "essential"?) and liquor and weed stores are open for business as usual, but a citizen can not legally access a lake in relative isolation. The list of essential businesses Inslee sent out is 14 pages long. There is the "loophole".
