I wonder what happens after two warnings?

Probably nothing, but they have threatened citations and even misdemeanor arrest, which I doubt they will go that far.

What proof is there that you did not in fact self quarantine?

What if u also pay taxes in Idaho. Some people own property in both state's. Seems like a justifiable reason to be there.

I'd think it has more to do with the warden working that day.  I once got a cited for a no-plug on a new shotgun, apparently the piece of stick i put in wasn't long enough.  Warden said i had to pay the fine and had a mandatory court date a week later in their county.  Told him how i am supposed to show up to court when i live across state and gotta work. Warden basically said the laws the law and if i didn't show up an FTA would be issued, which meant an arrest warrant!  All this over a no plug.  That following monday i called their county office spoke with his sergeant and explained the situation.  His sergeant was nice, basically told me not to worry and that he would expunge the citation.  Guess long story short i suspect if the warden wants to flex his authority he's probably going to. But be prepared to make that cross state trip for your court date if you do get a ticket, especially if he's already warned ya twice.

So even though you’re not supposed to be there unless you quarantine for 14 days, it’s ok to be there if they can’t prove it? Is it always ok to pick and choose what laws to obey?

Me me me me me.

That's not how I read the previous posts, the me me me me attitude. Who says they're picking and choosing laws to obey? What if they did show up at their residence in Idaho, self quarantined for two weeks, as they were supposed to? How do they know you didn't? Is a valid question.

@jackelope, I don’t see anything telling us how long the owner of that pickup has been in Idaho.  He might have moved there 2 months ago for all we know.

Why not self quarantine on a boat? Or in the woods? Is a hotel better? Does Idaho have a definition of acceptable 14 day quarantine? This is another example of horse *censored*

Oh agreed but if he doesn’t bother to try to keep it between the lines  in this case he’s maybe the same guy who will take up two spots at a crowded launch. Nothing worse then when someone sucks so bad they take up two spots.

I'm really surprised by this. I thought Idaho was more about supporting individuals' rights than our state. It's sad to see how people are being stripped of their rights all across the country.

We are so close to buying right now but number one we can't really go over there right now to look at property and number two we are making a play that the values will drop this summer as people become desperate for money.

I disagree but it’s changed a little mainly from everybody flocking her from liberal states. This is unreal to me. How do they know if you qaurantined? Idaho got their money? How about Idaho passed a new law requesting no non essential travel and people respect that? It’s is a me me me attitude we used to respect things and this is a short time frame.

We already beat the pandemic. It's time we get back to work. Or, at least back to outdoor recreational activities that do not endanger anybody. It's okay to shop at Walmart but you can't go out on a lake in your boat. Tell me how that makes any sense.

I agree it’s time to start opening up. I still don’t get why people wouldn’t respect another states laws or request. When I go back to Montana I don’t blatantly disregard their rules and there are some I think are stupid.  I also think some guy truly back in the woods hunting solo or with a partner or 2 is the perfect qaurantine. Who gives a crap what I think Idaho has requested people don’t come over for non essential travel. I don’t get the entitled attitude of “screw you idaho I’m coming over anyways”. I feel the virus is overblown but taking the initial precautions made sense. It’s probably one to two more weeks max show some respect and you will be welcomed back.

So even though you’re not supposed to be there unless you quarantine for 14 days, it’s ok to be there if they can’t prove it? Is it always ok to pick and choose what laws to obey?

Me me me me me.
It will be OK Idaho left there season open . I'm not sorry for them. Isn't no different than Washington closing down entire seasons cause this person can't hunt here or that person can't fish there. The way I see it Idaho earned extra revenue from Washington residents now deal with it .
Still feel this way.
Washington caused it by closing our seasons
Idaho made money from licences ,now deal with.Made your bed now lay in it ,I say.

This is why Washington plates are the most hated in Idaho and most of Montana

Why cause your state sold your wildlife to a non residents.
Or cause someone coughed up the non resident fee and they came to your state to hunt and fish.
I go over to Idaho quite a bit ,never had one person say anything to me ,but that happens a lot when I talk to people face to face.

But I will say your always welcome here in washington . :chuckle: :chuckle:
