Everything goes in cycles....    The ammo manufacturers know this, which is why they didn't spend large amounts of capital to build new plants to meet the increased demand.   It wouldn't make economic sense when things return to normal.

I don't know of any new "toilet paper" manufacturers either.   That shortage seems to have resolved itself in short order.

Same thing will happen with ammo....

Thinking a lot of new shooters don’t know it yet but this is the cycle of ammo and components.  Been doing this same cycle for years and years.  Buy when supplies are plentiful and you won’t have to worry on the next one.  As things rebound deals will be good.  Just be patient

So sell some ammo and buy LaPierre some suits if you want.

Don't come in here and tell us how to spend our money.

Your comment here was uncalled for. No one told YOU how to spend YOUR money. A suggestion to support those who support you and your hobby's is harmless, there was no need for that. That's not what this forum is for, even if we are not allowed to call it out apparently. Is this appropriate enough h20hunter?

It's political shilling regardless of whether or not you agree with his message.

Had nothing to do with the topic.

I just paid $38.00 for a 20 box of 6.5 Creedmoor. I normally wouldn't but I'll reload the brass 5 times to bring down the cost per shot.

I have to rationalize it somehow?   :dunno: :chuckle:

I wish I could say the same!
I was paranoid my shooting was digging into my stash.
Then I realized I could shoot 200 rounds a week for the next year, and not diminish my stash by more that 50%.
I had been in the habit of buying 100 rounds more then I shoot, for a few years. It adds up fairly quickly.

Still get weird about not replacing what I shoot though.
The wife thinks I am obsessed.

We finally agree on something, LOL

I think they’re starting to catch up, too. I was at Scheel’s on Thursday & they had stacks of 5.56 on the shelves
