I really don’t see how they expected that to kill it even if it was a well placed shot that tip would not of killed it, at least not anytime soon. Was this near houses at all? I wonder if somebody thought there bird tip would just bounce off its butt while it was eating their garden or something? Glad you put him out of his misery

To be clear
It wasn’t that point, just similar barbs
But the point wasn’t sharp. I pushed it on my finger to see if it was

I could have done a better job at looking at. Once deer was down I had one track mind to get the 3 mile walk and drive home out of the way. Made plans to bear hunt this evening but didn’t get chores done

i wonder if someone was using those as grouse arrows and accidently pulled that out of quiver and nocked it not realizing it.

Some bow hunters shouldn’t be bow hunters

The tip is identical
The barbs I guess yes but 3 were forward, maybe bent after dislodged

It kinda looks like someone was bow fishing, and tried to illegally take a buck with an unethical shot.  *censored*!   >:(
Probably wasn't in archery season.

Yup, fishing arrow.  That’s BS.  But awesome you were able to get it.

Maybe the person figured 100 yards of braided fishing line was all they need to track the deer?
