I was just poking fun about it. If I had the money he has to spend on hunts I would do the same thing. He clearly has a love for hunting and just like anything else, animal wise, on this site, people post for the attention. What other reason could their be? The money he donated in whatever form, be it raffles or governor tags is clearly benefiting wildlife far greater than you or I just buying a license and tag. I was talking about the jealousy thing. That's what it is when anyone trashes this sort of thing. It's jealousy.

The man can afford his hunting passion. He kills some amazing bulls!
Think of how many guides and outfitters he keeps employed each year.
I am curious how many hunts he goes on each year?

Anyway congratulations on another amazing bull!

I'm not to sure why I would congratulate Dan.  Congratulations should go to the multi-maned crew that found, followed, and got Dan onto the animal.  I'm sure (like in the past), that Dan just showed up (flew in) and handed them a butt-load of cash, pointed his gun at the bull, pulled the trigger, posed for internet pictures, gave them the address where to ship the antlers, and got on his plain and flew away.   :dunno:

You obviously know nothing about how they hunt elk on the san carlos…. Sure it costs a bunch of money but theres no crew just Dan and Homer who he has hunted elk with for over 20 years there... When I see a post or pic that doesn't fit my style I just scroll on I don't have to state my personal issues with it...

Now for my real negativity post. His 2019 bull from the San Carlos was much more impressive. The kind of bull I dream of personally. It's on here somewhere.

I just hope he still has that same proud, accomplishment feeling you had when you killed your first bull or branch antlered buck.  If I had his money I'd hunt in the best areas too, maybe he takes younger hunters and helps them??  I know I would, the older I get the more I like to see new hunters be successful than myself.  Most of us know nothing about this hunter, I'll trust what NWhunter says, he's in the know.  Great bull. (yes, I'm jealous too)

Beautiful bull.... wonder what the chances are of having him adopt me? Probably the same as me winning the lottery and having enough money to do what he's doing. Well, off to buy a lottery ticket.

Nice Bull! Everyone make sure to make a smart A$$ comment, bash the hunter, then move along to the bear petition page and complain about how we all need to stick together so we don't lose more opportunity.

Great contribution to this thread. I mean that with all the sarcasm.
