A few pictures from the past week
« on: October 31, 2010, 03:53:39 PM »
I found this website back in September and have thoroughly enjoyed reading all the topics and posts. It is apparent that there are some very experienced waterfowlers on this site and it has been awesome reading about your days in the field as well as the helpful reply's to those who are just learning to enjoy what we all have come to love so much!!!

After spending so much time reading about everyone's adventures in the field, I thought I would share a few pictures from our hunt's during the past week. Looking forward to sharing ideas, stories and maybe even getting together with some you in the days ahead. My son and I primarily hunt the Skagit / Snohomish farm lands and tide flats but occasionally enjoy a trip to the east side as well.

Cupped Wings and tight lines!!!!!!!!! Hope the pictures come through, it's the first time i have tried this....

Welcome to the site. If you ever want to trade some sea duck hunting out towards Port Angeles for some goose hunting then give me a shout.

Thanks everyone for the comments and warm welcome!!!!

As for the Speckled Bellies, is just me or did there seem to be a lot more of them around this year? I know they come through early every year on their way to California but this year there seems to be quite a few more than normal. Beautiful birds and a nice mix to add with the Snows.

There is a lot more around this season.  All the buddies were able to shoot them this year.  My buddies down south shot limits as well.

so yesterday it was storming pretty good in Auburn and I saw this flock of specs (love the way they sound) flying NORTH over me. Today I saw what appeared to be an identical sized flock, at the same time of day (about 8:10am) in Auburn flying SOUTH over me. LOL.
