If you are on this site, thanks for not being a *censored* and taking my camera! Nice to know a guy can still leave one out in some places. PM if its you and you want it down.

This is the first time I remember ever getting a person with a trail cam, other than the one time that I got an ATV driving by (through the woods where there was no trail).

This was in the Willapa Hills.

The camera had been turned and was crooked on the tree, as a result of what you see in the last picture.

Here's one from before the bear tried to pull the camera off the tree...

That bear staring down the cam is pretty funny. Also, if I'm going to get someone on my cam a kid would bother me the least. The way she's giggling all the way through the zone makes me believe she was sent there by a parent.

Yeah I figured her dad must have been with her, probably scouting for the archery elk season. It was way too far from any homes for her to have wandered there by herself.

I thought it was cute, I'd have had her make antlers with her fingers and walk through  :chuckle:

Cute kid for sure. I was curious if her dad is on this forum. Nice that he didn't steal my camera, as it was not locked up.

Many on here think HW members, steal cameras, litter, tear down gates, ride ATVs illegally etc. We're always being accused of it..
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I like to think that HW members tend to be the best 10% of hunters in Washington, as I think the stats show that HW has enough members to make up about 10% of the total hunting population of Washington.

It might be a tick more now.

19,725 total members on HW
143,590 total deer tags purchased in 2014

Probably closer to 5% I guess

I don't think we're accused of it, just someone venting about there situation looking for information.
If I had accidentltly left a weapon or a piece of my gear behind somewhere, I would hope someone on here finds it and reports it! Or even just waveing at one of my cams.

I find cams quite often. I'm surprised I haven't shown up in this thread yet. I have been lucky enough to not have a cam stolen. I did have an ad card stolen and my python cable cut and the cam tossed aside.  What really ticked me off was it being another hunter. Figured he didn't like me sticking my cam in his spot. So I re mounted it but 10ft higher  just have to pack my climbing sticks to check that cam now.
