Oh ya! Apring is the worst. I've also had rats eat each other thst time of year. What's really bad up here is when you come up to a set and you've had a wolf eat a fox or lynx!

Stupid question... But...    

So what are those things you are calling rat's??? They look more like a beaver cross to me.... Never seen one before and we trapped a little when I was younger... Use to get a lot of mink by or even in water but never one of those...

          I've trapped those before... Been awhile I guess....    Don't remember that tail like that... Guess that's why they swim so damn good...

I had a rat eaten up pretty bad one time and what looked like mink tracks around it. Ever have that happen?

I will have to add my trapping pics to this catagory this winter season.  Been looking for sign but nothing yet.  They will come and meet the ultimate modified Victor Rat Trap.   Got one named Maggie (from 1st blood) that is stained red.

Well God works in all kinds of ways guys. Not sure what my line or Journals going to do or be like for a while. My wife told me she's done. I spend most of my time in life with her and my two perfect little girls. I'm going out this afternoon to check some line, make a few more sets and just think. Seems like when everything in life's good you fall flat on your face. I'm not giving up but at the same time I'm tired and just don't know how much more I can take. Appreciate all the great comments, this lines a good out and way to clear my mind for now.

I hope this is just a vent and not dead serious!  I sent you some prayers and hope all works for the best.  As you said yourself, God works in mysterious ways, one door closes and another opens up.  Don't let you head hang low, be confident in yourself and pray for the best outcome, even if it hurts for some time.
