Looking to get out on the water this weekend hopefully they'll be about the Everett area.

they are at the west side of possession but for a slam dunk I would head a little farther to skunk bay, it was unreal today trying to get down thru them to the kings.  word on the VHF was they were picking up a few at the bubble, that would be a good choice for close  to Everett run

I think Seth is in 9 today.  Hooked four and landed two off Reef Point again, little bait, few boats, but only fished for a couple of hours.  I think the bunch from Thurs. has moved north.

Saw a picture today of a beach on Whidbey lined with people nailing pinks. I think it was called Driftwood?  :dunno:

Thanks I've only ever gone north out of Everett once then spent some time sat on the sand bank... Yep pays to trust your depth gauge...

From 8/5 on is a good bet. Low water could make it later

Lots of  pinks on the outside of san juan island right now we were hooking them as deep as 125' going for kings.  When you find schools jumping I'd you cast a pink buzz bomb into them it was  a hookup every time

Fished reef point on Friday. Landed 3 pinks and 1 coho. We were only at 32' and 45'.

They were thick yesterday trolling for kings in 100 feet of water! I'm sure if we tried we could have caught way more. Pilot point.

How important is the tide when fishing pinks?

Depends on location but it matters.  Tide pretty much always matters.
