We drew 5 of the 13 tags in 2006 and shot 4 nice bulls and ate one of the tags. In 2007 my partner drew one tag and shot a nice bull. About 7 years ago or so my wife drew the tag and the first day we hunted we had a bad snow storm come in and when were driving off of the mountain we about slid to our deaths on Skyline. After that my wife utterly refused to go back and hunt (that was hard to stomach).I know the hunt is not what it has used to be. Wolves and natives have taken a huge toll. Some say weather but I don't believe it. All of those elk are down by Waitsburg and Dayton when the weather gets bad in the low lands so the weather isn't the culprit. It will be much harder than the hunts we had in the past. I figured this was a once in a lifetime hunt for me but I have been lucky to draw it twice. once when I was 40 and again now when I am 53. Ill do the best I can and keep ya posted.

Dayton modern firearm quality bull tag for me!
So who drew mountain view?
Nooksack Rifle permit for me! The Multi elk permit paid off heavily with the option to chose permits for different weapons.
My son drew Upper Smith Cr. rifle bull.
