I’m kind of shocked they haven’t found him yet. Sure hoping there is an outcome soon.

Back in 91 my cousin killed himself in the Manastash during hunting season. Search and rescue did grid searches all around the area we knew he liked to hunt and they left ribbons in trees everywhere. After 3 days of ground and air searches they left but the family kept searching, when we found him there were 3 search and rescue ribbons within sight of his body and he was wearing hunter orange.  :dunno:

I know that the search is ongoing today, but I don't have any updates past about 6am this morning.

Still praying for a good outcome.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

An sos was sent out. Repeated three shots from a pistol close to a camp and no one went to look?

I'm sure someone went looking at that time.  Either way, if anyone has information on that Wednesday morning distress signal (particularly the location of the camp from which it was heard or any way to contact the people who heard it) please PM me or call the Kittitas Sheriff's phone number posted above.

You would be amazed at how many people are not aware of that methold of asking for help. If you aren't involved in hunting, hiking or other outdoor activities that address survival, you might never have been given that knowledge. Sad.

Have they found his truck?  Most likely went off the road.  Hopefully find his truck and find him.

I sure hope they are looking at and in any creeks, steams and any type of water sources. He could be injured and be by water for his water source. Seems they find people by water.

Any update here?  Sure hope he's found alive, but approaching a week seems hard to fathom.

Best wishes to this man and all involved.
